About Genting Highlands Premium Outlets
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets (GHPO) sits within Resorts World Genting, Pahang, at roughly 1,860 metres above sea level — a rare hilltop location for an outlet mall anywhere in the world. It's run by Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Genting Plantations Berhad and Simon Property Group, the same company behind Premium Outlets centers worldwide. The mall spans about 275,000 sq ft of leasable space across roughly 150 stores, with savings advertised up to 65% off daily prices.
What's actually there
Five kinds of stores, one mall.
Tenant lineups change over time, so treat this as the shape of the mall rather than a fixed store list — check the on-site directory board for exactly what's open on the day you visit.
Fashion & Apparel
The bulk of the mall — international and regional fashion labels at outlet pricing, spread across the main concourse.
Sportswear & Outdoor
A cluster of sport and outdoor brands, useful if the mountain air caught you under-dressed for the temperature drop.
Kids & Family
A smaller but dedicated stretch of children’s clothing and toy stores — a good pit stop if you’re travelling with kids.
Home & Lifestyle
Homeware, accessories and lifestyle stores toward the quieter end of the mall.
Food & Beverage
A handful of cafes and quick-bite counters inside the mall itself, separate from the First World Plaza food court.
Hours & amenities
Open daily, 10am to 10pm.
The mall runs the same hours every day of the week, including public holidays — no separate weekend or holiday schedule to plan around. A few in-mall services worth knowing about:
Planning the visit
Three things worth knowing.
Go on a weekday morning
Weekends and school holidays get genuinely crowded — the same crowds that fill the theme parks spill into the outlets by afternoon.
Pair it with a low-energy day
This is the natural "recovery" half-day after a full day at SkyWorlds or Snow World — indoors, air-conditioned, no queueing for rides.
It’s a short walk from SkyAvenue
No separate transport needed if you’re already staying on the hill — see the Getting There guide if you’re coming up just for this.
Getting here: a short walk from SkyAvenue if you're already on the hill — see the full transport guide for cable car and coach options from KL.
